"We’re redesigning everyday essentials to eliminate single-use plastic. Frustrated by the rise in plastic-filled products, we set out to create better options that are high-quality, compostable, and completely plastic-free." - Georgina & Damien, Founders of ZERO

FAQs

What is the Cling Wrap Made from?

The cling wrap is a bio-polimer that unlike traditional plastic, breaks down fully at the end of life into organic matter, water and CO₂. This means no microplastics. The film is made primarily from PLA (Polylactic Acid) - a biodegradable, compostable material made from sugar cane waste. To give the film its stretch, this is blended with a small amount of PBAT—a certified compostable material that safely breaks down into natural elements, with no microplastics left behind. Hope this helps? 🌱

Is your cling wrap in Woolworths?

We are contacted daily with this question, and my answer is not YET! but we are working on it.

We have our cleaning wipes in 220 Woolworths National and are working hard to increase our product range to include cling wrap and expand our national footprint of retailers. Please keep those comments coming so we can show them to Woolworths and Coles.
